I am really lionokg forward to my trip to Fairbanks in March 2013. My wife and I are celebrating our 25 yr anniversary in 2014. Both of us are electrical engineers and seeing the aurora borealis is on our bucket list. We can't see it from NC. We do have great barbecue though

Thanks guys! In fact Sigma is not a perfect chcoie for stars as you can't use it with full frame under F/3.2 and get at least agreable stars in the corners. The coma and astigmatism are awful. So you need to stop down.
